NOTE ON STARTING UP THE NEW UPDATE! If you saved on the Chapter 1 End screen, please scroll back into the prior event once you load then proceed as usual.

If you took my advice and saved before the Chapter 1 End screen, then this does not apply to you.

v0.9.1- Public release!

JUST A NOTE FOR THE END OF THIS UPDATE: This update ends on the (final) cliffhanger of this chain of events. Unlike the previous update, it ends on an automatic infinite loop.

If saved on that screen, you will get an error upon loading it again warning of an infinite loop. Just hit ignore to go back to the end screen, as it should resolve itself in the next update.

That said, I do suggest a quick scroll back and save just before that screen just in case. I am a noob coder and therefore am, by no means, an expert in these things.

• THEM PESKY CAPITALISATIONS FOLLOWING ELLIPSES HAVE BEEN FIXED. The ones that didn’t make sense, anyway. One of my players were kind enough to compile an entire list of them for me, and I have managed to chunk all of the ones that were gross and grammatically incorrect out.

• Event replays now have options at the beginning of the replay to trigger flags that effect changes in the event. This only affects events that have flags in them.
• Fixed a couple of event replays that didn’t have music to play, as they used the same song in the previous event. These events now have songs that play in them in replays.

• Started the process of reworking Zeke’s Jam Session. The old one is still available, as the new one is currently WiP.

• Added MOAR HINTS in all Character Events screens to hopefully alleviate the sandbox fatigue. Now you know when(ish) events can be triggered. Beside the event title, there will be a written indicator in brackets like this: (Weekday/Weekend/*Specific Day of the Week*).
• Fixed Requirements for Main Event ‘Desperation’. Hints said Rose Event ‘The Octave of Ambience’, but wouldn’t start until after Rose Event ‘Intelligence Gig’ instead. This has been fixed.
• Fixed Audrey’s call hangout options. The repeatable lewd option was showing up if you didn’t choose the lewd option in the Audrey Event “Generic Porn Plot”
• Some minor grammatical errors fixed

Also, as per the poll results, 0.7.0 will be delayed a month (please refer to this post for more information). Kinda crappy, but the possibility of having much more content in one bigger bundle rather than a much smaller update for this month seemed to be the general consensus. • Reworked event colours for QoL reasons
• Green is for events triggered by calls. The other colours remain the same (Purple = lewd with choice, Red = lewd without choice/Lewd choice made in Purple Event, and Blue = Non-lewd choice made in Purple Event).
• In the event that a call event leads to lewds, Green takes priority.
• Also, because I am a liar and it was requested, there is now an additional explanation for all of this in my in-game blurb at the beginning of the sandbox.
• Added in scroll bars for events and hints for easier navigation.
• Fixed Rose’s Bar generic event render to the correct one. Previously had Lupe’s.
• Daine no longer steals Hanako’s line in the ‘Courtesy Rounds’ event.
• New songs have not been added to Zeke’s Jam Session. For whatever reason, it crashes when I add them, so I will hopefully have that figured out by 0.5.0.

• NEW! Jam Session option in the Main Menu brings you to ‘Zeke’s Jam Session’, the Jukebox of Detached! Listen to the OST without using any of those pesky media applications! (I still use Winamp though because I’m stuck in the mid 2000s apparently)
• Added in a checklist in a character’s event screen for any locations that have requirements for them to show up (IE, Mall) because QoL. When a requirement is met, the corresponding part of the list disappears to remove unnecessary clutter.
• Added in a little bit of extra information regarding finding Main/Character Events and Hints in my blurb when first being introduced to the pseudo sandbox. (You can find character-specific events screen in their respective menus).
• A character’s lewd events are now colour coded. There will be no hints for this in the game.
• Mostly figured out the reason for the rough phone transition. Mostly. Now I’m having an issue with previous messages carrying over to new messages, so ignore that part for now. Will be fixed in a future update.

• Mac build! No idea how to troubleshoot problems, so play at your own risk! The usual screenshot error screens/reporting issues to me so I can try and fix them still applies!
• Can now cycle through the individual characters’ menus within their respective groups without pressing back or closing the menu
• Added ‘Back’ buttons to many screens for easier menu navigation
• Moved ‘Back’ button to the upper right corner under the ‘day’ frame on all screens with the button
• Can now name your saves (Thanks to BadMustard on Itch for this code).
• Phone system partially implemented (Thanks to Nighten on Itch for the code and UI) – Has some visual issues that need to be figured out, and I eventually want to lead into using it as a contacts list for calling the girls once I piece together out how to.
• New “Support Detached” choice in the Menu brings you to a Linktree page with all of my socials and Patreon/SubscribeStar to clean up the menu from unnecessary and ugly clutter (plays nicer on Android phones now too if I decide to go that route again).
• New “Shout Out” choice in the Menu for the “Your Name in My Game” Patreon/SubscribeStar tier perk.
• Fixed code to make sure old saves work without crashing because of new variables added (I’m still largely learning Ren’Py and this has been a struggle that I’m glad is fixed.)
• Added missing music to one of Hanako’s generics
• A few grammar and visual fixes in 0.1.0 and 0.2.0 content
• Fixed a bug that made it so that the Mall only appeared at 10 Jessica affection, no more and no less. It now appears with 10 or more Jessica affection, and the necessary Jessica event being complete.
