Alyssa gets two events, one for each route depending on your climax choice in the third Chapter. Her arc will be completely split from here on out. Didn’t get to far into it, she will be worked on further in future releases. There’s always the replay gallery if you want to see both sides going forward.
Zimira is getting a new repeatable at the coffee shop titled ‘back room’
There is a very special event titled ‘Meds’ accessible from the MC’s bedroom and available after every main girls first story event is completed. This is one event you are not going to want to miss if you’re a fan of MM. The new chapter is worth downloading for this alone.

The games auto save import feature has been activated. If yours does not work correctly the game will send you to the memory prompts, they are entertaining. Under no circumstances ever manually import a save from another chapter.

Futhermore from now on you’ll notice the “update” button on the main menu. This should be the only client of Melatonin Magiks Chapter Four you will ever need, from now on I’ll be able to push updates directly to the client.

No android build as of yet. To my android peeps I’ll try to get it out as soon as possible, I’ll post on here about it when its up, keep your notifications handy.

Throwing this little gem straight to public, because fug it spirit of the holidays. Merry X-MAS or X-MAS eve to all of you.
As promised GGbeachday. I put a lot of love into this one for all of you. The only thing more comfy than being inside with loved ones or just your cat or your bottle of whiskey this holiday season is being on a sunny beach with goth bitties. Thats quick maths.
v2.7 also comes with an upgrade from renpy 7.3.5 to 8.0.3. Overall it’s much more stable and brings added goodies like the save import feature. So now all three chapters are save compatible. Players just need to sleep a night without Neko or Ona once they’ve completed the previous chapter and the next game will import your data if you so choose on a fresh save.

Using the same methods being done in Chapter 3 we’ve achieved massive lossless compression from 5.80 gb to 2.3gb
When Chapter 2 v9.1 comes out (very soon) there will be a built in import function that will finally allow Chapter 2 to import your choices made in chapter 1. In order for this to happen, you must open your current save in Chapter 1 v 3.2 and sleep at least one night without neko or ona.

• Intro movie – There’s like a 3 min intro movie that plays like a big cutscene right at the start of the game. This happens just after you assign pet names and re choose past choices. I’ve made it so you won’t [accidentally] skip the movie, still watch your clicks as you can desync the audio if you go click crazy after choosing whether or not you killed Pyrka. Enjoy.
• The intro itself – it is long and fun. General rule is still to watch your clicks when there is no character dialogue.

What this update is:
A rerendering of much of the early content of the game. An upgrade from a VHS to a Blue Ray.
A bunch of what I like to deem eye cancer, from when I didn’t know what the fug I was doing, has been bought up to current quality standards.
What is update is not:
A remake, a reboot, a massive retcon, ect.
No content has been removed, content has been added.
Only one scene was half rewritten, one of Ona’s H repeatables. I think I added a single line of dialogue when you first meet Neko.
The game has not been retconned, it is still the same old silly mess that it always was. It just looks a lot better now. That’s it.
By and large it is a shot for shot rerendering. I tried to keep the original vision as intact as possible.- Added a replay gallery, you can set pet names in settings.

• A special thank you to two f95zone community members cuckoo4cocoapuffs and masterdragonson. Both of them put in mind numbing hours of insane codework into the game out of either self flagellation or genuine love for the game. The improvements they put into both the front end and back end of the game are profound and anyone who’s a fan of Melatonin Magiks owes them a sincere thank you. As do I.
• The replay gallery has been overhauled in a significant way. Much more user friendly. Please check the in game settings page to optimize your experience. Even without the use of the new feature in the settings the gallery will no longer ask you for your text input. Much more streamlined.
• Players can now choose from a variety of main menu backgrounds featuring your favorite waifu in settings.
• There is now a music room. It is not fully inclusive of all the music in game, I ran out of time. It will be expanded upon in the future.
• There’s other visible and non visible improvements to the UI. You’ll get the memo.
• A quick note to make sure you are not “skipping transitions” within the in game settings, it breaks the game for both chapters. If you were unable to experience Ayame’s event in the last update or get flashes of the last image before an animation, this is the cause.
• As for New Content, there are only four new events. All for Emi. Trust me when I say that what is contained within them is worth a months time and I trust you’ll enjoy them. They will scratch the itch, eheheh. Be judicious with your clicks when there is no character dialogue notably during the fourth event.

A note on the replay gallery:

Happy this is here, not happy by how much time it took to implement. This is the perfect way to track what content is in game, and view it all from one place, though there are some advantages for some repeatables when replaying them from the normal game channels, namely dialogue. Please help me find bugs, the one I am most concerned about is if events become unlocked before they should become unlocked. Other bug issues would be more obvious, if you find any please message me. The only events not yet implemented in the gallery are the milk shed BSDM scenes. Speaking of dialogue, if you ever wanted to see what Neko would say if she called you ‘Catlord of the 2019 movie Cats featuring Taylor Swift’ during a scene now’s your chance. Overall I’m super glad it’s in game.

So this is an updated build for Chapter One. No more lag/crashes. A few updated CG’s. Fixed transitions from the stability patch. Lots of typos and a few bugs.

A note on the newly added Kawaii system:
Yes, that’s what I’m calling it. Because it is. By popular demand Headpats for all the main girls have been implemented in their rooms.
Ona and Neko-Chan have an extra option, you can ask them what they’d like to do and they’ll take you on a mini frame cute activity.
It’s a pretty nice start, all dialogue options change depending on the day to keep things fresh, have fun with it.

Nothing new for Zimira this update, all the custom animations in the H scenes I made for the other girls cut into my time. There’s a lot I have planned for her. And other things, I’ll get to it all eventually.

You can now take Lorica to the milk shed, once you’ve completed her story event for this update and also if you’ve already taken Haru and Emi.
Delphina has a new repeatable event in her domain, check it out, I’m rather proud of the animations.

Major bugfix: Ona’s unrequited bug has been fixed.

THIS IS A NEW GAME BUILD, DO NOT TRY AND IMPORT SAVES FROM THE FIRST GAME.

A note on the intro: It is long, it is fun. Cliffhanger justified. Be honest on who you have had sex with, If you say you have not had sex with a girl you will just be locking yourself out of content for every girl except for Mimika. Do not click on any render to progress except for when there is character dialogue or you will miss out on frames. Adjust your sound and music volumes to a comfortable level.

A note on Delphina’s 3rd story event. It is the climax event for the update, it is very long. Once you do the story events for each of the other girls other than Neko-Chan it will unlock.

Melatonin Magiks Chapter two is going to be released as a separate game, following the same story, same characters, right where this one leaves off.
The file size will be reset, all the story events from Chapter one will be removed, all repeatable content will carry over.
