Today’s update is another small one relating to bug fixes like players getting stuck on black screens, terrain or small rewrites and spell checks here and there. Sadly we didn’t have much time for anything else, but there is still one additional illustrated scene now available in the nymphomania run, and Septim’s workout with Tera has finally been reworked to fit into the current build of the game.

We haven’t been able to add as much as we would have liked to the last couple of weeks as we’ve scrambled to rework our plans after encountering the technical difficulties mentioned afew weeks back. But with that, finally behind us, we are back on our biweekly update schedule. 

So check back on us in two weeks’ time for new quests, lewds, and illustrations.

We would like to thank everyone for being so understanding about the delay to our most recent update. We were quite surprised and grateful to the number of people who actually reached out to help us with the issues we were facing. As we hinted at last week, overcoming these issues will take some time, but we got a better idea of how to go about it now, thanks to your help. 

But until then, there are a few exciting new additions to this build of the game. One new scene is available to be previewed in our nymphomania mode, alongside two new illustrations.

We also added labels to each area to help navigate the world a little better.

We also added in the ability to speak to your companions to grow and expand your relationship with them. It is quite bare-bones right now, but we have plans to add further rewards and scenes tieing into this in the future.

For now, we only had time to add the start of Celine’s story. But we will try to work on the start of Tera and Morrigan’s stories for next week.

Finally, we’d like to thank our loyal backers for supporting us through this challenging period in Fur Quests development. 

As our audience grows, so does the pressure to succeed and show tangible progress on the game, which makes moments like this when we are forced to rework significant parts of the game really stressful.

But it is thanks to your support that we’ve been able to get outside talents to add their unique skills to the game, which not only speeds up the development of Fur Quests, but it takes a huge weight off our backs.

We appreciate all of the bug reports and feedback we’ve received from players lately; it goes a long way to helping us narrow in on key issues of Fur Quests.

This week we tried to balance out certain enemies in the game, mainly the elemental slimes, which might have been a bit too powerful originally.

It is really hard for us to determine those kinds of things on our own as the nature of a randomly generated system means that sometimes while testing, you are either extremely lucky or unlucky. Which can lead to widely unpredictable results.

Speaking of slimes! For our Nymphomania player, we’ve added two variants that serve as a fun little preview of a quest we’ve been working on, along with another fun collectible hidden somewhere in the world.

We had hoped to have a bit more story content to go with today’s update, but sadly there were a few bugs and glitches that took priority, and we’ve not quite gotten to the bottom of all of them just yet.

We got good news for you today!
We finally figured out how to add a quest log into the game!

This was made needlessly tricky by our branching story paths, which meant that we had to have unique logs for the same quests depending on the order in which we decided to do it. In fact we haven’t gotten a few of them to work just yet, but we are glad to have started on this huge quality of life feature that has come heavily requested by our testers.

In other fun news, two additional illustrations are available in the nymphomania mode.
There is also one additional background added to add a bit of variety in the fields of Erathor.
Sadly we didn’t get much writing done, with our entire focus going into the quest log. But now that that is in place, we hope to add more quests and party banters for the next update.
